Pool Heating
Heat Pumps
Heat pumps are widely accepted as the most economic method of reliably heating your swimming pool to a constant temperature. Unlike fuel boilers, a heat pump will produce up to five times the energy it consumes. For every one kilowatt of power consumed, a heat pump can produce up to five kilowatts of energy.
The heat pump principle is based upon refrigeration technology. This technology has a unique ability to absorb energy from atmospheric air which it can then convert into useful heat.
Heat Exchangers
A heat exchanger provides a simple, compact and neat solution for heating a swimming pool. All of the elements needed for the heating system are entirely pre-assembled, leaving the whole system to be simply connected to the filtration piping and to the boiler.
Main Characteristics of the Heat Exchangers:
- 316-L stainless steel heating element
- Automatic controls
- Digital aquastat, showing water temperature and cut-in temperature
- Circulation pump
- 2 isolation valves for primary circuit, one fitted with an anti-return valve.
- An emptying valve
- The full electric wiring system
Electric Heating
The Hotline electric heater is an economical solution to the heating of smaller swimming pools (less than 60m3).
All of the elements needed for the heating system are entirely pre-assembled, leaving the system only to be connected to the filtration piping.
The Hotline heater is available in 220V single phase or 380V three phase.
These heaters include:
- A 316-L stainless steel heating element
- An Incoloy - 825 resistor
- An aquastat
- A thermal cut-out with manual reset
- An adjuystable pressure gauge
- A control panel with master switch
- An emptying valve
- The full electric wiring system
Solar Panels
We all know the benefits in using the free reliable energy coming from the sun. Heating water by sun radiation can eliminate high, on-going monthly fuel costs, using a safe and clean energy source.
Heliocol is an all plastic solar collector, used mainly as a swimming pool water heater and as pre-heating systems for industrial and domestic hot water supply.
The advantages of our plastic solar collectors are:
- The ability of heating a large amount of water to low & medium temperatures.
- No damage caused by pool chemicals, corrosion and salts.
- No yearly maintenance costs.
- Cheaper and lighter than metal glazed solar collectors.
